The magic, myths and primal majesty of Africa are brought to the mainstream comedy fantasy genre in this adventure... One hundred and fifty years ago, two Southern African tribes were at war. The weapons were spears and magic. In desperation, one side summoned from the underworld a demon from African legend, a spirit of incredible power and evil. Big mistake. Today, the demon is free again. The allied guardians of the church and the tribesmen of the veldt place their hope in five unlikely heroes who must travel across the veldt and into the underworld to banish it for good. Their comic misadventures take them to a magical labyrinth where mythical legends from ancient Africa live alongside a fantastic, supernatural cast of immortal witches, mythic beasts and powerful talismans.
